We will use a shade guide so that you can see the colour of your teeth both prior and following the treatment. This allows you to truly appreciate the difference and give you a comparison. The products I use boast incredible results, with teeth up to 12 shades whiter, achieved in just 60 minutes.
You will be asked to brush your teeth prior to whitening, this is to remove recent surface staining and build-up and exfoliate the enamel to enhance results.
You will then be asked to brush your teeth with a textured accelerator wipe that has had an activation liquid applied. This not only provides a deeper clean but builds up a lather/foam that draws the gel deeper into the enamel.
I will remove a sterile mouth guard from a sealed packet and apply the peroxide gel. You will then be asked to place this in your mouth, over your teeth, and put protective goggles on in preparation for the light treatment.
You can then sit and relax as the LED laser light gets to work lightening and brightening your pegs. The oxidation process addresses deep staining and discolouration from the inside out, resulting in a whiter smile. You will have 3, back-to-back 20 minute sessions with the light in order to get the best possible results in just 60 minutes.
Once treatment is complete I will talk you through the aftercare designed to prolong your results and allow you to get the best out of your experience. You can also purchase a range of at-home teeth whitening products, including toothpastes, pens and rechargeable kits. Home kits allow you to go even longer between treatments and maintain those pearly whites on an on-going basis as part of your regular, daily oral hygiene routine.
